MLY ENGINEERING SERVICES

MLY Engineering Services is a Sole Proprietorship specialisation in Electrical Engineering activities related to Visiting/Supervising of electrical installations as required by The Electricity Act Malaysia 1990. It is based in Kuantan, Pahang.
The Principal Electrical Engineer is Ir Md Lias bin Yusof, a Professional and Competent Electrical Engineer.

Electricity Act Malaysia 1990
Electricity Regulation, 1994, Clause 67.
1. The competent person who is required to visit and inspect the installation shall be as follows:
a. where the installation is operating at low voltage -
a.i. the Electrical Services Engineer.
a.ii. the Competent Electrical Engineer.
a,iii. the Electrical Supervisor.

b. where the installation is operating at higher than low voltage -
b.i. the Electrical Services Engineer.
b.ii. the Competent Electrical Engineer.

Electicity Regulations, 1994, Clause 68.
1.Any Electrical Service Engineer, Competent Electrical Engineer or Electrical Supervisor who is required to inspect an installation under regulation 67 shall inspect the installation and shall record and direct all findings, recommendations and instructions to the Director and the owner, management or licensee of the installation, as the case may be.
2.The Electrical Service Engineer, Competent Electrical Engineer or Electrical Supervisor shall submit to the owner, managemnent or licensee of the intallation, as the case may be, an inspection report of his findings, recommendations and instructions of the installation within one week of the inspection.
3.The owner, management or licensee of an installation shall keep a book of all the records and reports made under sub-regulation 1. and 2. and the book shall be open for inspection by the Director at all times.
4.The Electrical Serrvice Engineer, Competent Electrical Engineer or Electrical Supervisor shall submit to the Director an Inspection Certificate as prescribed in Form I of the First Schedule within one week of the inspection of the installation.

Electricity Act and Electricity Regulations are under the jurisdiction of Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission), Malaysia.

MLY Engineering Services is currently active in the Kuantan, Pahang area.
